software suggestion: virtualboy(gameboy emulator)

would it be possible?
I would love to play pokemon, like on a big gameboy color,
WASD for up down left right,
OP for a and b
return for start and sym for select
etc

I'm guessing the refresh rate would be too slow to be playable. The closest thing I saw was someone running SMB1 NES on a Kindle emulator on their PC. The games that are already out there for the Kindle are sluggish anyway, so I cringe to think of Zelda: Link's Awakening running on it.

I think you're better off running it on a smart phone.

Here's the story on that NES emulator:

I think it's entirely possible with the refreshrate hacked down (http://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=142848). Plus, there's already Java-based gameboy emulators ready to be ported into a Kindlet. However, using the kindle as a portable gaming system is extremely awkward, even with a keyboard.

I was thinking of something like pokemon blue, you dont move fast, the game is almost monocrome, only has AB left right up down start select, nothing hard like right or left trigger
