Is Mobipocket just GONE?
It seems to be gone! I can't find anything here or elsewhere that says where they've gone. I use Mobipocket reader on my Cybooke Gen3 and my Opus. I also use it on my computer. I've converted pretty much all my source material and notes for teaching to Mobi format too. Is it just gone? should I just switch to another format (egads! the work that would be!) Where can I buy books that I know I'll own them forever. ![]()

The software is still there...
http://www.mobipocket.com/en/Downloa...sp?Language=EN Mobipocket (the non Kindle version) has been slowly dying as a format for years now and new release titles are getting harder to get.

That's why you use Calibre ... you can always switch formats in one click.

The link doesn't work.
I guess I should plow into Callibre. I'm NOT looking forward to that kind of time sink of getting organized again. |

The link works fine for me. Perhaps you're having a browser, firewall or isp issue???
The reader software can also be downloaded from CNet... http://download.cnet.com/Mobipocket-..._4-195528.html
