Kindle Finally for sale in Canada

This could be old news but I walked into "The Source" today and saw that they were selling the Kindle 3, both wi-fi and 3G editions, and not the 'with ads' version. They were priced around $159 and $199 if memory serves me correctly which seems fair when you think about customs charges etc.
I'm still glad I went to the US last week to pick up one though....

$159 is indeed reasonable considering you have to pay not only custom charges, but also shipping. It has always annoyed me that we couldn't order it through Amazon.ca.

You can't order a Kindle through Amazon Canada? That doesn't make any sense at all.

I didn't pay any customs fees. Including shipping, I paid $170. Which is cheaper than paying $159 plus HST from Source.
