I really like the word "brouhaha," and use it a lot. I picked it up years ago when I used to follow hockey religiously. There are many brouhahas in your typical NHL game.

OK, the most understood word in the entire world in virtually every country and language is, well, OK.

It was invented by a bunch of upper middle class boys in Boston who were fond of pretending they were immigrants and inventing what they pretended were immigrant mis-spoken or mis-written attempts at English. Anyway, OK was supposed to an immigrant's initials for All Correct but he got the letters wrong and they were, thus, OK not AC.

It would make sense yes. Even here in Portugal we use it quite often, almost anytime we want to confirm something
