Books blank when exported

Hey everybody. Hoping I'm posting this in the right area. I have about 80 books and when I send them to my nook color (cm7) a few of them are acting up. One reader will open the cover page and then the next page it will close back to library. The other app will just simply freeze and my favorite app Moon+ will open it, but each chapter in the book will only be one blank page. Confusing part is its only a few of the books and they read perfectly fine in calibre. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for all your help!

Apparently I'm not the only one that is lost here. I even tried exporting the books to folder and opening in mobipocket reader with no luck.

what is the format fort he books in question?
Scanned pdf's will sometimes act this way
I have had other formats that seem to act oddly.
Perhaps convert book to txt or rtf and see what is really there?
