You're right, that does give the "Show open windows" command, but it doesn't do anything in my case. I still have the full screen.

Can't you point the mouse at the bottom right-hand corner of the full-screen version and shrink the size by moving the mouse diagonally towards the top left?
I do this a lot.

Thanks for trying, Patricia, but that doesn't shrink the screen at all; just highlights text.

Scratch that; it works after all if you know what you're doing. That'll work just fine; thanks Patricia.

Thanks Alternative. That would be easier then my way of playing around with desktop sizes to get BD back.

If there are some problems with BD window or some strange application behavior - save your job as html0 (Ctrl+F11), close BD, kill BookDesigner.ini (in the main BD dir), open BD, load saved html0.

So bookdesigner.ini has the Window size when BD was last closed?

Yes. And many other settings saved on the last BD unload.

So then the solution is once you have your settings set, mack a copy of bookdesigner.ini and you can then restore it if the need ever arises.

I just backed up my copy of bookdesigner.ini, all 9,390 bytes of it.
