Works just like my Sony 950 -- by finger or by stylus. What's the great breakthrough?

its active digitizer pen with finger touch. similar to wacom pen and touch but built in house by hanvon. they have been making their own version of wacom for years. its more accurate then IR as used in the sony and is pressure sensitive. the finger touch sensors are built in to the pen digitizer layer- meaning beneath the display. the digitizer layer is flexible making it very robust and its cheaper to produce than current capacitive touch by %30-%50 says Hanvon.

They were showing this on device at CES but they were focusing on the Color EInk at the time. Now at SID they are putting the focus on this new innovation.
