Thoroughly bricked? Won't boot SD or CWM

Have a Nook Color that has been sitting unused on my desk for a month. I had CM7 running off the eMMC.

I did something dumb when doing the 1.2 update. I got confused and in CWM I flashed the BN stock update, rather than the flashable zips, created by XDA guys.

Since I did that it goes 'Read Forever' -> 'N' screen -> Animated 'nookcolor by Barnes and Noble' (this one repeats over and over until I shut it off).

*Have tried 2 SDs cards and 2 different bootable CWM images written from 2 different PCs
*Attempted CM7 SD boot installers, no luck.
*Interupting the boot process 8 times failsafe doesn't work...
*No hardware key combinations help

Got no idea what to do next? Any help?

FINALLY, go it after spending several hours... Hopefully this will help someone that screwed up their boot partition and can't get into CWM via SD.

Create an bootable SD froyo or CM7 card... Boot this up and enter into ADB on your PC.

In the ADB shell run the files from this thread (I did boot.img and system.img)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=919353

Once I was able to get back into CWM I did a stock restore... Thanks all!

Glad to hear you figured it out--that first post was scary. Sounds like a huge PitA, but it goes to show how hard it is to brick these things short of hitting them with a brick.

Yes, when no CWM was working (internal or SD) it was worrisome, because that is step 1 in every unbricking guide!

Note to all, do not install the stock BN updates via CWM or it will corrupt your boot.img / system.img!
