Hello:
I got a Kobo to read pdf files. Can I do that? Was I put on by the fellow at Borders? Anyone, please help.

It should be noted that the experience is usually less than satisfactory.

You can read PDF files on your Kobo. The problem is that they are shown much like images on the screen, and so your resizing options are drastically limited. When I read PDFs, I try and size it so that the screen shows a single page across, but I have to scroll down to the lower portion of the page when I get to the bottom. You can actually access that lower portion of the page by hitting the next page button, so it really just means double the page turns.

Have you been able to load the PDF onto your Kobo? You do that by "Add Item to Library" in Adobe Digital Editions and then dragging it onto your Kobo.

Landscape mode also helps for PDF.
