Ubook plugin api

I noticed ubook has a plugin api allowing any programmer to make a plugin for ubook that could open unsupported formats such as .doc or .lit or even the sony ebook format
How come no one has come up with plugins for this great software.
I use a ppc device to read ebooks and ubook is far the best in performance.
But I think many people dont like it in the first use as it is a bit complicated to setup for a first time user.
