I downloaded the book app-it is pretty gorgeous. I do think the format is probably best suited for magazines/cookbooks/reference books. "How Things Work" would be a great one to start with.

Push Pop is going to release their creation tools as a Mac Store App. Hopefully some magazine publishers (cough Wired cough) will take a look.
