Refurb Nook 3G on woot.com $99 today

..as compared with B&N's refurb price on eBay: $139.

I'm thinking of getting one (for library books etc.). Is PDF viewing useable?

I've borrowed a couple of PDF books from the library. I didn't really like the way it was formatted to the screen. I mean it's readable but since PDF is meant to be the size of actual paper, there are a lot of half and 1/4 pages when reading a PDF on the Nook (and other 6" e-reader as well).

I did some googling, it appears Nook will not reflow PDF. Kindle does not do this either but I can usually manage by reading pages in strips in landscape mode. But the standard by which we should judge on 6" eink devices is Sony's PDF support, which is probably about as good as it can get.
