Can't remember the name...

I am trying to remember the name of a short story by James White. It's a first contact story between a human tailor and a centaur. Hewlitt is the human's name.

Does this ring any bells, and which anthology is it in? I know I have it. But I recently reorganized and can't find it.

It sounds like one of the Sector General stories. The centaurs were Duthans or something.

Check here and see if any titles look familiar

It predates the Sector General stories and has details tht don't quite fit into the timeline. I found the name: Custom Fitting.

It's really good.
