USB hosting may be around the bend
Verygreen of SD-install fame has managed to get his NC to recognize a USB keyboard, USB hub, and USB card reader from Terminal Emulator. He estimates a couple weeks to a more user-friendly implementation

Yeah. I've been watching this. Looking forward to plugging in a USB game controller. Need to track me down some decent emulators.

The developer got kicked off the Google market due to some complaints from Sega (of all companies!). I should have a Nintendo Classic Controller Pro showing up today or tomorrow and don't yet have a wiimote, so I'll definitely try that shiz out.
