Time Warner Cable App
Time Warner Cable today released a new free app that, if you are a TWC subscriber, and have a wireless network, allows you to view several (not all) TV channels on your iPad. It is called TWCable TV.
You must be registered with TWC My Services and use that Username and Password to sign it.
Works great, needs more channels.

I use the DirecTV app like a remoter remote control. It lets me set the DVR to record from wherever I happen to be. Plus all of the other account things.
