Anonymous: Beowulf (Tr. Francis Gummere), v.1, 25 March 2008.

The Anglo-Saxon epic in a translation by Francis Barton Gummere.

Beowulf of the Geats combats a succession of monsters.

(The William Morris translation has already been uploaded. Take your pick. I prefer this one. The source was PG.)

My favorite translation is by Burton Raffel. When I purchased my Sony Reader, the second book I downloaded was Beowulf.
