Dostoevsky, Feodor: Notes From the Underground. v1. 18 July 07
Feodor Dostoevsky (or Fyodor), one of the two titans of Russian prose, first published Notes From the Underground in 1864. It is regarded as a founding work of existentialism.

For me this is the most approachable Dostoevsky work. I was hooked from the first page. I started reading it about 21:00 and stayed up until I finished it. By Russian standards it is a short novel.

Sorry about that chief. You did Brothers and while it is a great novel and considered his best, I always favored Notes. Hope you like the way I did it. Now don't let this effort stop you from making your own version. There are already several works with multiple versions out there. I have also released some of the Harvard Classics (which often combine several great works in one volume) as stand alone ebooks -- Ben Franklin's Autobiography and John Woolman's Journal are just two examples.
