Need help on Goodreads
The librarians on Goodreads are being a pain.

I'm having a hard time convincing librarians that Sony sells ePub only and that ePub does have fixed page numbers that do not change when the text size changes. They also do not know that nookbooks are ePub.

Please help and go the the blow linked thread and post that all this is so. I want to get a book's listing fixed. But they are being stubborn.

I'm not surprised, as that is not true. Adobe has a way to compute some fixed numbers that do not change with text size (which they unfortunatelly call "page numbers", they can be useful, but they are not pages), but the ePUB format has no fixed page number.

But as the eBook in question uses DRM and has to be used with ADE (unless you strip the DRM and we aren't talking without DRM), then yes, there are fixed page numbers.

Adobe uses "page-map" so that there is a correspondence between the printed book and the ePUB file. See this explanation., there may be others .
