Dialog boxes do not show text

The default android dialog boxes have a blue background with white text. the nook has changed this setting to a white background however the device still has white fonts for the text. the result is that the fonts are not visible.

Has anybody founda way to change the font color?

i'm I the only one seeing this?

Can anybody confirm that this is the same behavior to others.

Nope, you're not the only one seeing it.

It's happened to me on a couple of apps I've tried installing. Seems to happen only on Popup boxes, and so far I haven't found a fix for it.

OK, so this pertains to rooted devices only. That was my assumption, but wanted clarification.

Yes, I've noticed this numerous times.

yes it's with a rooted nook.

The issue only happens in dialogboxes with apps that are not made specifically for the nook.

I've seen this with several apps but the only one I can think of off hand is ezPDF. When you try to use the bookmarks or search.
