Reading Kindle books on the NookCOLOR(2.2 update comming this Jan)

The Nook Color getting Android 2.2 and Market in January. Now nook readers can enjoy reading books from any retailer (aka Amazon's Kindle) with an Android app.

All of a sudden the nookCOLOR is become a very attractive eReader/tablet option.

...Nook Color -- a $249 Android Tablet hiding behind with a thin e-reader coating. ...with Barnes & Noble confirming that Android 2.2 will be officially coming to the Nook Color in January....

From the same link:

Update 2: Barnes & Noble PR just got back to us to reiterate that Nook Color's own shop will begin adding apps in early 2011 and that there are currently no plans to enable Android Market. Move along, nothing to see here, folks.

The whole access to the Android Market thing seemed like a complete 180 from what was stated from day 1 by B&N.

Wait until it's been out for a while and successfully rooted: then it could be a good substitute for an Android Tablet.

(I mean 2.2 has been rooted - the current firmware has, but no guarantee on the next one yet.)
