Custom Column Format

How do I add a custom column (this I know how to do) that shows me the formats I have in the DB for the selected book (This I do not know how to do) ?

Could you go into more detail? Where do you put the code?

When creating the new column, under "Column Type" choose "column built from other columns" and enter {formats}

Yes, it's a bit confusing as "formats" is not actually a "column."

Create a new custom column with type 'Column built from other columns'. This kind of column is called a 'composite column'. When creating the column, you will see a box labeled Template. Put {formats} in that box. Press OK, press Apply, note that a restart is required, then restart calibre. Your column will now be there.

Note that you can change the template of a composite column by editing any cell in that column, making it easy to change what is shown.
