What do you recommend

I like Dan Brown, Mike Walsh and Andy Mc Dermott. Andy Mc Dermott is similar to Dan Brown, archeologist following clues to great archeology finds around the globe. What other authors do you recommend?

If you like that kind of fiction, other authors in the same vein might include;

Raymond Khoury (The Last Templar and The Templar Salvation)
Scott Mariani (The Alchemist's Secret, The Mozart Conspiracy, The Doomsday Prophecy, The Heretic's Treasure, The Shadow Project and The Lost Relic)
Gregg Loomis (The Julian Secret, The Pegasus Secret, Gates of Hades and The Sinai Secret)

You might also visit the Literature Map site here http://www.literature-map.com/

You enter the name of an author and hit return. Then a page opes with that author's name in the center and similar authors arrayed around him. The closer to his name theirs is, the more like him they are.

I like that link but you've got to wonder about that literature map's algorithm. Punch in Dan Brown and Ayn Rand shows up in the results. WTF? Is it because both use bad prose?
