stuck with recently added column

Hi,

i want to add a user-defined column(s), one for recently added and one for recently edited columns.
Somehow i can't get it to work
Somebody got an easy solution?
Thank you!

You can add custom columns via the preferences (see, unsurprisingly, "add custom column"). What exactly isn't working?

Thank you,
i misunderstood the user-defined columns completely. I thought of something automatic, when i add a book to the collection. But to mark them with a doubleclick as that day is ok for me.
Thanks again for your quick replies
regards
