Calibre performance on Mac really bad
Ok my macbook isn't the newest, but its still a C2D processor and I wouldn't expect converting an ebook to be intensive stuff. I just get the washing machine icon for quite a long time, maybe 5-10 mins for a 300page ebook. My PC can do the same thing in about 10 seconds. |

I had a similar problem and it was the USB cable...My Mac just didnt like it and it would do what you described...
