capturing text overlaid/within non-rectangular images
Hello ePub community,
Is it possible to overlay searchable text on non-rectangular images? For the particular title I'm working on, the text (which must be captured as text) sits enclosed within a circle. There must be a way to do this, right??!?! |

It is not a Circle, but similar if you use a picture of a circle.https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...07&postcount=1
The text, is just normal text (bigger sized) |

If you mean a non-rectangular paragraph shape, like this:
I don't think it can be done with CSS2, at least not without lots of manual tricking, which would break just by looking at it. Maybe with SVG (http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/WD-SVG12-20041027/flow.html) or CSS3... |
