Calibre makes a number of temp files ( some 0 bytes) that I've been manually deleting.
I'm wondering what they're for, whether it's OK to get rid of them, and if so, why they don't get deleted by the program.
The temp files have names like:
And folders like:

Its fine to delete them as long as calibre is not running. They are deleted automatically when calibre quits. If they aren't being deleted for you that means calibre is not quitting cleanly on your system.
