Another BD question

I know I must be missing something obvious but......

How do I format a book in BD to have ‘Arial’ font?

I manage to change the font of the whole text to Arial in BD. However, after making the book using the ‘Sony Reader’ button, the preview of the file created shown in the Connect software appears to be the same regardless of what font I have before the conversion.

What am I doing wrong?

Guess you did not embedded the font. If you'd like another font on the reader, you need to embed it in your LRF/PDF file.

Be aware that embedding the font is going to slow down page turns, though.

Although the Reader does not contain the "Arial" font, it does have a "Swiss" font, which is very similar. To use this, simply select it as the font for the "Paragraph" style on the "Styles" page of the "Make Sony Reader" dialog.

You might try it out, and see if it bothers you. If not then you're in good shape, if so, then don't do it any more.

Kinda like getting poked in the eye, right? Won't do that again!

lol, (not refering to the actual font, but I'm sure you figured that one out. Right?)
