Calibre File Names
Can anybody tell me how to set Calibre so that is doesn't place the "The" in a book title to the end of the name? For example: "Stephen King - The Dead Zone.mobi" (The way I want it) instead of "Stephen King - Dead Zone, The.mobi" (the way Calibre does it) Thanks in advance! |

Welcome to MobileRead!
Try Preferences>Import/Export>Adding books. Then you probably need to search for the regular expression that suits your filenames; it has been much discussed and you can find lot of examples. |

it is under tweaks in preferences
# Control how title and series names are formatted when saving to disk/sending # to device. If set to library_order, leading articles such as The and A will # be put at the end # If set to 'strictly_alphabetic', the titles will be sorted without processing # For example, with library_order, "The Client" will become "Client, The". With # strictly_alphabetic, it would remain "The Client". save_template_title_series_sorting = 'strictly_alphabetic' |
