bottom half of touch screen not working
My flatmate just opened his new prs-650. He is trying to set it up but the bottom half of the screen doesn't respond to touch so he can select english as the language but he can't touch the ok button. In fact the last two language options aren't selectable either, just seems like the bottonm half the screen won't respond to touch.
Does it need to go back?

I've seen two other postings with this same problem. Your best bet is you send it back.

On another thread someone mentioned that because the new Sony touch screen is powered by Infrared beams projected from the corners of the screen, any debris blocking the corners would render the whole screen inactive. Maybe one should check that the corners of the screen are clean first.
