FictFact: Figure out what order to read that series in
I stumbled on a site that is devoted to maintaining lists of fiction series and the order in which they should be read. http://www.fictfact.com/ I know it seems pretty trivial but I can't tell you how many times I've spotted a book from a series and then had a hard time figuring out which book I was supposed to read first/next. Then again, maybe I'm just thick!

Another source for determining the reading order is Wikipedia. It helped me with the Robotech series, a combination of novelizations and original books, to determine the correct reading order. Although the novels are numbered, the numbers indicate order of release, not the reading order.

My primary source for series information is http://www.librarything.com, followed by fantasticfiction.com.
I will add your find to my reference list - thanks! Snowman |

FictFact is something else than a reference site. It's useful for me because I can say that I "follow" a series and they send me info when a new book is added to it and when the release date is near.

Wow! FictFact is so comprehensive that it even has *my* books on it!
Thanks for the link, Croptop, I can see this being useful for series I follow.
