And there's a new Archer's Beach short story up on Splinter Universe. This one is about Felsic and what happens just after Carousel Seas. A delightful story, if you're a fan of Ms. Lee's Maine Fantasy world.

First read completed, and I very much enjoyed it. This is a story about Daav and Aelliana, to some extent; Hazenthull, Tolly and Admiral Bunter; and mostly about Shan and Padi. I came away both satisfied and very much wanting MORE. All the story lines end in relatively appropriate points, but none are at all complete. And there's nothing at all about Theo or Surebleak. But that didn't stop me from very much enjoying it, so, by all means, if you can possible splurge, grab the eARC. If nothing else, you'll help Sprite win her bet. And have a great read while you're at it.
