Still confused about new firmware

I still have a need for a DRMd PDB ereader. One daughter talked me out of my Nook and another out of my Jetbook Lite. I really liked the Jetbook Lite and think I would like the lighter Jetbook even better. Here is the question:

1-Does v35m support DRM'd PDB?
2-Are B&N EPUBs required to transfer files with that Adobe ADE junk or can I unlock them using my name and cc#?

If they support PDBs I would think the name-cc# would work but who knows.

Thanks in advance and regards - John

I can answer question #2 since I have a JBL and not the JB: For B&N epub, Adobe ADE is not required. Just transfer the ebook directly to the jetbook, then enter name and credit card info. You only have to do this once.

1. No. JB v35m has support for ADE and B&N ePub. It has no support for DRM'd PDB (JBL has support for DRM'd PDB )

2. you can unlock them using you name and cc#

True, for now with the 0.16e firmware the JetBook Lite supports all three DRM scams,
whereas it's "big brother" with audio book/MP3 Music capability, cannot handle the
Secure eReader .pdb DRM format, it seems logical that the JetBook will be getting the
same capability, at some point.

Luck;
Ken

PS; I like the JBL's user replaceable batteries more than I need another MP3 player
anyway.
