New Spotify beta update works great
Spotify on Kindle Fire had been something I had been waiting for these past few months. Unfortunately, using the android spotify app that was side loadable was basically unusable on the Fire. Spotify released a beta of a completely redone app thats ics compatible and a revamped interface. Just threw it on the Fire and it's been perfect so far, while not made for the Fire, it works without flaw from what I can tell.

Just thinking about spotify. I expected the link to download an apk. What do I do with what was in the zip archive?

put the zip file on the fire? rename to apk first? where does it go?

Spotify is a no go, because it requires Facebook to sign up.
