It was definitely discussed. IIRC there are restrictions on the libraries that chose to keep offering out of state access, just like there are some purchasing restrictions on some of the consortiums.

Does anyone else have issues with the Overdrive iOS app since the very latest update? It crashed once, then promted me to enter my AdobeID but it won't recognize my password and keeps telling me it's incorrect.
I am posting this in this thread because I know someone from Overdrive was watching it for a while.

How does one search for pre-release titles? Just found Clive Cussler's Mirage after manually searching 'added to site' from my desktop at Philadelphia Free Library (FLP); release date is Nov 5. I see nothing in the search or advanced search queries.
I have it in calibre as an empty book; but when searching with the overdrive plugin the pre-release is not found.

Sorry, I meant what if one wanted to just check for 'pre-release' books but didn't know a title.

I'll admit that I am jealous at the Finnish Mobilereads members right now. The libraries in Helsinki just got Overdrive. But no sign of any Swedish libraries signing up for Overdrive. I love the Swedish library system, but so far no library has added english e-books. sigh. Maybe Atingo will be an option for english e-books at Swedish libraries in the future.

I noticed that there is now the following statement on my bookshelf page:

If a title is available to renew, the option will become available within 3 days of its expiration.

How long has this renew option been available? That's nice!

Since I wrote my previous post, I now have a book within the 3 day timeframe. A renew option does show for it even though it has someone on the waitlist. Interesting.

I think waiting lists take long enough as it is. If they do this for all books I might just give up.
