The Breakfast Club is Over - John Hughes Passes Away
Sadly, John Hughes passed away today at 59 from a massive heart-attack. If you grew up in the 80's you probably have a film that you love that John Hughes had a hand in. My favorite was always Pretty in Pink. So in honour here's a clip from that film.
RIP John Hughes |

Also, if you've never read "Vacation '58," the short story Hughes published in the old National Lampoon magazine that later became the basis for the Chevy Chase movie — well, it's available on the web and it's hilarious.

I told a few friends about this and none of them seemed to care, which made me even sadder

His movies brought me much pleasure in my college years. I can't think of the 1980's without remembering one of his movies.

So sad. Although we watched the above movies many times, my son and I watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off so many times that we wore out 2 VHS tapes and then bought the DVD.
