calibre and windows 7 failure
got the following
Job: **Get device information** **error**: (31, 'GetDiskFreeSpace', 'A device attached to the system is not functioning.') **Traceback**: Traceback (most recent call last): File "calibre\gui2\device.pyo", line 43, in run File "calibre\gui2\device.pyo", line 143, in _get_device_information File "calibre\devices\usbms\device.pyo", line 152, in free_space File "calibre\devices\usbms\device.pyo", line 117, in _windows_space error: (31, 'GetDiskFreeSpace', 'A device attached to the system is not functioning.') took awhile to even recognize the kindle 2 was there, latest calibre sw windows 7 7100 Note windows 7 will not open the kindle, xp works fine. That's an OS level error. Can you browse the contents of the Kindle memory using Windows explorer?

No, I think this may be a Windows 7 thing, since I cannot open the kindle on 7, works great in xp. Thanks for the quick reply.

I have windows 7 and I do not have any issues with hanlin v3

Calibre also works well on windows 7 for me. (I only use the "Save to Disc" feature though)
