Cool Rilego open source images2E-book converter

I hope that this time I'm doing this right.

What is it? it is (another) images/cbz/zip to E-Book converter.

Why another?
Many years ago I made a small software called JE-Comics (reference here) to convert comics into pdf.
I was asked many time to release it as open-source so finally I've got the time to clean up (well mostly) the code to be ready for the web. At this time it is still mostly a clone of JE-Comics, but the architecture (even tough is not completed yet) is planned to support multiple output formats (only PDF is supported at this time).

Planned features (only partially implemented):
  • Multi-threaded engine
  • Support for multiple output formats
  • Support for multiple input formats
  • Output optimization for e-ink readers

The code is split into two parts the lib and the gui, this should allow to use the lib into other software (for example a website).

Where can I get more info and the software?
Official website
Google project page
Download page

again WHY?
I really don't know, just for fun or because I've finally decided to buy an e-reader X)

Hope someone is interested
Cya

Cool

I've added a installation package for windows that create an icon for the tool.
It works well under Windows XP but I could not test it on Vista and Seven.
