And I know that when *I* have written instructions, I've always clearly stated that it was on the front of the Cybook - which means that you'd have been down to just two buttons, the navigation one and the central one inside the navigation rocker. 50% chance of getting it right - just by guessing. Your post did make it seem that all you had to do was swap out the old system folder to get back to the previous firmware.

That was what I did. In the user guide the button is not called "enter". As I said, there was no way to confirm that the D-pad-middle button was the correct button with the information provided by Bookeen.
