hello, thank you for this mod. i have a question to ones using this: what are the advantages of black? Can we activate night mode any time?

Sure you can use it anytime. The original idea was to have a less "glaring" option for night time reading. Rather than a bright white screen with a relatively small amount of dark text, do it the other way around; a dark screen, with a small amount of bright text.

You can already do this. Firstly, set the refresh to something other than 6. Then connect to the PC and edit ".kobo/Kobo/Kobo eReader.conf". Find the line with "numPartialUpdatePageTurns". Change that to an integer up to 99 and save. The device will use that number. And if you look at the refresh option, it shows "OH THE HUMANITY!".

Ah cheers, I didn't know about this, this and the nightmode page turns mod have made my day
