Hello - I'm new here - so glad to find this community!

I just got a Sony Reader PRS-600 for my birthday. So far, so good. I had to take the first one back to the store because it wouldn't work but the new one seems functional. So far I've managed to download one free book, one library book and one $$$ book from Shortcovers.com (Infinite Jest, which apparently is too big for the Reader. *sigh*).

The 600 has a huge capacity (twice, I believe, what the 505 has). Odd it can't take Infinite Jest

To help you with your ebooks, you should download the Calibre software. It is much better than the Ebook Library software from Sony and is developed by a member here at MR. Calibre has it's own forum where you can find all kinds of pertinent information. Good luck.
