Someone give the man some karma for suggesting that please? I would, but I've just given him some for the hippopotami in my quote.

Yes, but it would probably work better if you punctured one end, use a small pump to suck out the filling, and then used a syringe to file it with marmite.

<some experimentation later>

True, it does. However, for the surprise variant (think marmite mixed with peanut butter), you need such a large bore needle that it is somewhat obvious. It looks much better with the original method.

Muuuuaahhhhah <coughs, splutters. Exeunt, just ahead of the culinary police, weapons of mass distaste division.>

Oh heck yes they do. We had some for christmas. I only like them though if the cookie part is chewy.

Here is just one recipe......

PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES WITH HERSHEY
KISSES

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter (creamy)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix together first 5 ingredients; then add remaining flour and mix until you form a sticky dough. Roll into small balls and place onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until just golden brown. Place unwrapped Hershey kiss in center of each cookie, while they are still hot. Makes approximately 48 cookies.

The cookies have to be hot for the chocolate kiss to kinda melt into the cookie.....It helps if you unwrap them all before the cookies come out of the oven...
