STILL WAITING for "2666" by Roberto Bolaño

I wrote about this in November, 2008.

I'm still waiting to read this novel.

Publishers: Get off your collective butts and make this book available ALREADY!

It's now won a prestigious award.

I want to read this important novel now, NOT in 2010!

Stay tuned....

Why don't you buy the paper book, Don, if you want to read it so much? Owning an eBook reader does not prevent one from reading paper books .

Personally I now prefer reading from my Ebook Reader. I just find it more comfortable to hold.

In general, if I have a book that isn't available in digital format, I have created my own. Most recently I bought a couple of Jeff Noon books (both of which I had previously owned and then thrown away during a clean out my wife made me have). So far I have only gotten round to scanning one of them in, but I now have it in digital format

Yes, I now plan to buy the paperback (3 volume edition) when I go to the U.S. sometime next week.

It's just that I kept hoping and hoping.....
