While I'm sure there is some placebo-type effect going on, I also expect a new iPhone will run faster than aused one, and one without a case will feel lighter.
Still love man-on-the-street skits. People are funny. |

Most people use cases so that is probably why. My case doubles size and weight of my phone.

I would like to see the alternate cut, though, with the bits that were left out.
"Hang on, this is an iPhone 4S". "It's a 4S, dude." "Young man, I think you'll find this is the same phone." "Nice one. 4S." and "Hmm. I think the new one's slower and heavier." Graham |

The speed thing could be because their phones are bogged down with crap. My phones always benchmark better with a fresh install compared to one that has a bunch of stuff installed. My GF's android phone is so bogged down right now it is having an issue with calls. Stupid thing is LG blocked out clearing the cache (both cache partition and dalvik cache) unless it is rooted. Stupid you have to root it to properly reset it.

Planned obsolescence? Phone gets slower as you use it so new phone appeals. Genious!
