Their policy is to carry only books published by publishers with 25 or more titles, which means small publishers just starting out can't list their books there.
Thanks for the info, I wondered why they hadn't arrived on Fictionwise yet. I don't like to use the Mobipocket site as they add a tax of 19.6% to UK buyers. Luckily I managed to get them from CyberRead instead.

Cheers

Here's their policy information:

That's their policy for Multiformat done through them. Since they're available from Mobipocket they should be able to carry them in that format through their Mobipocket distro hookup, but I don't know how you'd go about getting them to do it. You'd think Diesel and Books on Board would have the Mobi versions too, but they don't. Maybe they haven't trickled through the disto channel yet or something.

For anyone wondering. I bought books 2 and 3 from Amazon and the Kindle editions are not DRM'd.

Mobipocket is supposed to take care of that, but it's been 3 weeks and the books aren't showing up yet. Because distribution is automated to a great extent, it just seems to take time for listings to percolate through the system. Which is why I tried to deal with Fictionwise directly, but no luck.

Thanks for the info about CyberRead. I'll add them to my "buy the books" page.

FWIW, Powell's has the Adobe versions for sale and Ebooks About Everything has all three in Adobe and book 2 in Mobi as well (but not 1 & 3 at least not yet).

Also for anyone wanting the PDF's, Books On Board is offering reward dollars on them right now.

Thanks for letting me know about Powell's for the pdfs. I'm going to change my links from Diesel, because they are selling the books above retail.

I'll keep an eye on Ebooks About Everything too. When they have all 3 books available in mobi I'll add them to my site.

Welcome on board Catherine.

The title of this thread is very deceptive. The book is available in more formats than just Kindle. That was the reason I was ignoring this thread for so long ;-)
I found the link in another thread. The Warriors are impatiently waiting in my "to be read" list.

Perhaps you could restart this thread with a different title. Like:

Free eBook in multiple DRM-free formats
