Regarding Calibre source code compiling

Hi every one,

I am new to this forum, i have some assignment to do.
That is i got the calibre source code with me, i have to compile it and
create a EXE file. for this i have installed py2exe, pyqt4, pyqwt, python2.6
visual studio 2008 and also bazar to download the source file.

I tried to compile the source code cmd is "python setup.py py2exe"
but i am getting the error.

Error details:
C:\calibre>python setup.py py2exe

Please let me know am i doing correctly or not, if the process is correct
then please let me know why i am getting this error.

Compiling calibre from source on windows is hard, you will have to hack the build system specifically the files setup/build_environment.py and setup/extensions.py

Please let me know does poppler required to compile the calibre source code in windows, if so please me know how to install poppler on windows.

would appreciate any help.

Easiest is in linux.
