Well now, everyone like me, who would have never guessed that these books would be available in either place have more choices for downloads.

I've downloaded many, many books here that our wonderful community has shared, but I have the Peter Watts from Feedbooks, I believe from before I joined MobileRead.

And thanks, bwaldron, for letting me know they're available at Feedbooks.

I discarded the html versions fron the author's site and immediately went to Feedbooks and downloaded the PDFs (for the Sony).

I was asleep at the computer!

For the actual reason I missed so many downloads, here's an explanation.

I was on hiatus for awhile, moving from Cincinnati and back to Arkansas in preparation for my move to Peru in order to be close to my fiance.

Then the dreaded INCIDENT happened: My computer's hard disk crashed! --- ARGGGHHH! as they used to say in the comics. (I think they've since changed it to ARRGGGGGHH, with more emphasis on the gargling sound.)

I still need to mass download ALL the lrf files and stash them away somewhere safe.

Sorry for raising an old thread from the dead, but this felt like the right place.

I just saw Blindsight (french version) in a bookshop here in France.
I greatly enjoyed it as an ebook so I bought it as a keeper.

Score one more for the free release of ebooks !
