Sorting When Viewing Series

I'm a Calibre noob who is playing with it to see if it will meet my needs (so far, it's the best I've run into, free or shareware).

I've run into a problem when I click on Tags, then Series. When I open up a series, the books are listed in no particular order. I have the Series name and book number entered into the appropriate fields when editing the metadata. Is there any way to get Calibre to list the books in the correct order by book number?

once you have just the series items showing.
Click on the Series (label) at the top of the column, Click again to reverse the order.

Note: This procedure works to sort any column.

Well, duh! I told you I'm a noob. Works on any column in any view. Never fails but I miss the simple. Thanks!

Alternatively, click on the series column and then on the author column. All of your series will be in order and the authors will be alphabetical.
