I scored 18. But frankly, there were only 3 or four of those 18 that weren't just wild-ass guesses. And at least two of those three or four, I identified correctly simply because there was only one italic/bold font name in the list of choices when the given font was clearly italic/bold.

I got 23. I would have done much better back in my publishing days, when I was reading "Stop Stealing Sheep" for fun. When the font we were using didn't have some special character that was needed, we MADE IT OURSELVES! The height of geekery that I enjoy this fact so much.

None. Not even going to bother taking a test.
I did look up Comic Sans and turns out it's one of the ones I like. I have a really pretty one on my Kindle but can't remember what it's called. I guess I don't care enough about the names to use up valuable space in my already over crowded brain. |

Twenty. Blind-squirrel luck, but I scored a twenty.

In general I've never worried about having to identify fonts. I did use the site identifont once thought when I was trying to figure out a font that had been used in a logo on a website I maintain. Turns out that font was Eurostile. I thought it was fascinating how it could walk you through the characteristics of the font with the letters you had available and get a pretty good idea of what font it was.

15, almost entirely by luck. The only one I knew cold was Comic.

A whopping 18. I'd say about 8 or 10 I knew, a handful I had an inkling (the italic one for example) and the rest were pure guesswork.
Cheers, Simon. |

I worked publishing Yellow Pages for 22 years... was leader of ad creation team and pagination. I never want to identify a font again! (Except went selecting fonts in my reading app... and hopefully Arial.) When you have bad eyes those serifs just confuse!
