MOBI Conversions - Kindle DX v Paperwhite
I have owned a Kindle DX for a while and have used Calibre to convert a few books for reading on it.
In the conversions settings output format has been set to Kindle DX. Recently I got a Paperwhite. I've loaded those books onto it. So far, the two or three books that I've looked at appear fine. (as they do on the iPad app and the iPhone). What does this setting do, if what I'm seeing seems to make little difference to how the text appears? Thanks. |

I thought that setting a device within calibre pretty much centered around screen size for images and pagination. Maybe some generic settings for the applicable output format.
I could be mistaken. |
