Can't Login to Kobo Account: Connection Error?

Finally accessed my WiFi account using the Security Key. Installed update. Set up time. But when I try to login to my Kobo Account I receive a "Connection Error" message telling me to check my connection and try again. But connection is fine.

I restarted multiple times. I even tried selecting "create a new kobo account." when I tried that, I received a serious error message prompting me to contact Customer Care. Before I attempt to contact the customer service line (which seems to offer terrible service and little assistance), I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this problem ...

NOTE: I also receive a Server Error in '/59108' Application message sometimes as well.


UPDATE: Talked to customer support. Rep told me that the system was having problems and that many kobo users were reporting the same error. I waited a few hours and it finally worked. No more error messages. So happy!!!
